Where are the stories that show the link between unemployment and prison recidivism rates, between high school dropout rates and crime? Balance and accurate reporting can't be achieved in sound-bites or news blurbs. Ghetto America digs into broad social debates like education's role in reducing crime and drug abuse and in providing long-range opportunities to poor urban and rural residents. For this, we need support from viewers interested in in-depth and balanced reporting not always provided through mainstream sources.

VOLUNTEER

We’re always in need of volunteers to help during the filming of our documentaries. There are lighting, sound and research duties to be done. As well, we are always looking for contributors of royalty-free music of all genres to add to our ongoing soundtrack. During early summer, we will be filming in Philadelphia, Pa., Greensboro, N.C., Baltimore, Md., and Washington, D.C. Please contact us to help out.
